County Councillor Nick Hollinghurst, who is seeking re-election on June 4th for the Tring & Villages Division of Hertfordshire County Council says:
"There's a lot that needs fixing at Hertfordshire County Council - just as there is at Dacorum Borough Council. If we could cut out the waste, we could freeze the council tax we pay - just like they did recently in Liberal Democrat run Three Rivers District.
But remember - both Herts County Council and Dacorum Borough Council have been run by the Conservatives for well over 10 years now.
So it's no good looking to them to put things right. The Tories can't provide the solution because they're part of the problem."
He concludes, "The only way to start making things better is to choose Liberal Democrat candidates whenever and wherever you can."
