Congratulations to all students on A Level and vocational results

Sal Brinton, the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for the Watford Constituency, congratulated all students who have received their exam results today and over the last few weeks.
Sal said "Many congratulations to all the young people who have received their results, confirming their hard work over the last two years. They and their teachers should be justly proud of their commitment to their studies.
"In addition to the A Level students whose results are published today, I'd like to extend my congratulations to the many vocational students, who have had their success confirmed over the last few weeks. Unlike the A Level students, they don't have one day when their results are published, and their hard work and success is often overlooked. They and their lecturers at West Herts College should be justly proud of their achievements.
"My only fear is that because of the shortage of university places this year, some of our young people will not be able to get a place at university, nor find a job. We need to ensure that they have access to support to continue learning and to finding a job."
